Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy describes information handling on iwantyoutoknown.com, published as Known. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@iwantyoutoknown.com.
Information collected when you visit
Our site is a static editorial website. We do not offer user accounts, a checkout, a newsletter subscription or a contact form. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process technical request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, access time and security events to deliver the site and protect its infrastructure. We do not install optional audience-tracking or advertising scripts on the site.
Fonts may be requested from Google Fonts. Those requests share basic connection information with Google. Editorial and advertising images are hosted with our website, rather than loaded from merchants on each page visit.
Messages you send us
If you email us, your message may include your email address, name and anything you choose to share. We use that information to handle the enquiry, investigate corrections and maintain necessary correspondence. Do not include sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request.
Affiliate links and other websites
When you choose to click an advertising or affiliate link, a merchant or affiliate network may receive technical data and referral identifiers and may set its own cookies or similar technologies. The network can use those identifiers to attribute a purchase to a referral. Its own privacy and cookie policies apply after you leave our website. We do not receive your card details or complete order information from your checkout.
Browser storage
We use local storage to remember that you dismissed our cookie information notice. Search runs in your browser and does not create a user profile. Read the Cookie Notice for more detail and how to clear the preference.
Purpose, sharing and retention
Information is handled to operate and secure the site, respond to correspondence and meet applicable obligations. Where a legal basis is required, the relevant basis depends on the activity, including legitimate interests in site delivery and security, consent where required and compliance with legal obligations. We do not sell personal correspondence. Service providers may process information to support hosting and email delivery; information may also be disclosed when lawfully required.
We keep correspondence only while it serves the enquiry or a legitimate record-keeping need. Technical logs follow the hosting provider’s settings and retention practices. Provider processing may occur internationally and is subject to the provider’s applicable safeguards.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict processing of your information, object to certain processing, receive a copy or complain to your local data protection authority. Email us with the request and enough context to identify relevant correspondence. We may need to verify your identity proportionately before fulfilling a request. You can also control browser storage and decline to follow third-party links.
Children and updates
The website is intended for a general adult audience and does not knowingly seek information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has sent personal information. We may update this policy when site features or processing change; the revision date appears above.
